A NEW MINISTRY is in the formation stage:  If you are interested in finding out more about it join us for an organization meeting following worship on Sunday, January 17th.  The "working name" of the ministry is THE BROADCAST TEAM.  Tom and Pam have already been "beaming" our worship service on Sunday through the internet and out into the world.

What a wonderful outreach this will be knowing that anyone with computer and internet access will be able to worship with us on Sunday - wherever they may be. There is, however, nothing like being present for the real thing!

Gentle Shepherd now has TWO monthly opportunities for sharing food and fellowship: The first Wednesday of every month, EVERYBODY in the Gentle Shepherd Family, especially newcomers and guests, is invited to join together for dinner at a local restaurant. Dinner@7 in January will be Wednesday, January 6^th.   Food, fellowship, and fun at China Chili on 302 East Flower Street in Phoenix. (Click the link for a map and directions.)

And now for members and friends of Gentle Shepherd who are in the East Valley, the new "East Valley Dinner Club" will be meeting again on January 19th, 2010 at 7 PM, at Takamatsu’s, which is a Japanese and Korean BBQ restaurant. It has been voted the best Korean Restaurant in 2008 and 2009 by Best of Phoenix.  The restaurant is located at 3002 North Arizona Avenue, in Chandler.
