Outreach to the Community
Every second Sunday of the month members of the Gentle Shepherd MCC community bring boxes of cereal to church. The cereal is given to a church member who heads a program in the school where he works to provide a healthy breakfast to the children before the school day begins.
ALSO, the fourth Sunday of the month one pound bags of rice are collected and given to The Agape Network, which twice a month provides food supplies to over 300 persons living with HIV+ and AIDS. In the month of December, we collected 107 pounds of rice and macaroni & cheese.
